Louise has been photographing women for the past 20 years, building an archive filled with images that are continually evolving, yet the focus never moves too far from the subject – a woman, at once strong yet vulnerable. Through her camera she gives you a glimpse into a moment that might otherwise be kept behind closed doors. Her most recent work transcends you to a place where the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood might have painted their models, or the artists in Paris worked from their rooftop studios in the early 20th century.
“Without a paintbrush, but with light and my camera to paint with, I‘ve found a way to express myself that fills me with joy”
Louise Bobbe
